Just saw The Chris Duarte Group last night. One word..."always amazing everytime i see them!" Ok, so that was more than one, but hey, they are the best. This photo i took a few years back and got it signed the next year i saw them. Long live blues/rock!
So its Monday, and im just finally recovering from Saturday. The show went well. There we're alot of people there, i had a really great day. Started drinking around 10am. Played at noon. Went to numerous barbeque's. Went and saw the " 5 Card Studs ", they were great. Check em out: www.fivecardstuds.com Then went to the bar to shoot pool and close up the place. What a long day. It was great hanging out with my band the whole day. That was the first time we spent that much time together in one sitting, and we had a blast. Many memories, many memories!

Ok, so im writing this a day early, to myself, because im sure no one will read this anyways...but tomorrow, (Sat.) my band " I rock Z" is playing. In the lovely bay view area, outside, in front of Rushmor Records. The South Shore Water Frolics parade will be ending, and then that will be our cue. Please pray to the rain gods to take the day off, im hoping. Nothing else is really new, packed up all my drum gear tonight so i don't have to do it tomorrow. Nothing like a punk-rock show at 11:30am. This should be very interesting. Hope im awake!
I was at the riverwest commons last night to see "Motorcycle Prom Dates." They were fantastic. My friend Corey is the drummer. He has turned me on to alot of great punk-rock. Right now im gonna have to say that "Misfits" are my favorite band at the moment.
